Just finished watching Paradise Kiss and Le Chevalier D’Eon. I liked them both, as you can tell by the fact that I finished them but…I hate japanese style endings. Maybe it’s just my bad luck at picking them but I rarely see happy endings in anime. At any rate, Paradise Kiss a coming of age/school life anime, had a nice story and a modest bit of character development to it. A bit touching with the coming of age stuff, slightly bittersweet on the ending. Reminds me a bit too much of real life.
Le Chevalier D’Eon is a historical fantasy set in 18th century France. Hmm, liked the plot, it had a bit of supernatural flavor and who can resist swordy stuff? Classic coolness. Some of the events, even though not unexpected, made me a bit sad. Again with the even less satisfactory ending.
